Under him, SHUAA closed several transactions in 2022; it acquired a controlling stake in Souqalmal and listed a $100m SPAC on Nasdaq. From leading ADFG since its creation in 2011 to its merger with SHUAA in 2019, Alseddiqi is credited for creating an investment powerhouse with $13.1bn assets under management as of December 2022. He has also expanded its portfolio across more than eight countries. He is also the chairman of SALAMA Insurance Company and Esraq Investments. He’s on the board of Dana Gas and is an advisor at San Francisco-based venture fund 500 Startups.
