Home Transport Aviation Low-cost carrier Air Arabia Abu Dhabi announces new service to Mumbai The carrier flies to Calicut, Chennai, Jaipur, Kochi and Trivandrum, with Mumbai soon becoming its sixth destination in India by Gulf Business April 21, 2022 Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the capital’s first low-cost carrier, is introducing a new service to Mumbai in India, starting from May 12. The flight will depart Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 3.00pm local time and arrive in Mumbai at 7.40pm local time. It will leave Mumbai at 8.30pm, arriving at 10pm, both local times. Air Arabia’s Airbus A320 will operate the flight. Indian Network Mumbai is the sixth city in India that Air Arabia Abu Dhabi flies to after Calicut, Chennai, Jaipur, Kochi and Trivandrum. The low-cost carrier’s new service represents the 20th route for Air Arabia Abu Dhabi since the launch of the carrier’s service from Abu Dhabi International Airport in July 2020. Air Arabia Abu Dhabi recently announced the launch of a new service to Chennai in India, starting from April 27. Travellers from Abu Dhabi will now be able to fly directly to Chennai International Airport. The UAE’s first low-cost carriers said that its flights connecting Abu Dhabi and Jaipur, also known as the Pink City, will commence from May 5.
