Luxury Developer Damac Opens Two New Hotel Apartments In Dubai

Dubai-based luxury developer Damac Properties has announced the opening of two new serviced hotel apartment projects: DAMAC Maison The Vogue and NAIA Breeze.

Located in the Business Bay area, the two projects have a joint capacity of more than 500 suites and are the fourth and the fifth projects opened in the past 14 months by Damac Hotels & Resorts.

DAMAC Maison The Vogue offers deluxe rooms and one, two and three bedroom suites. Services include a gym, health club, a kids club, an all-day dining café, complimentary wi-fi and shuttle bus services to Dubai’s main attractions.

NAIA Breeze offers 339 deluxe rooms and one and two bedroom suites with facilities including a health club with a gym, outdoor swimming pools and indoor and outdoor play areas.

Niall McLoughlin, SVP, Damac Properties said: “Damac Hotels & Resorts has five projects open to date and more to come, catering for the growing need in the Dubai hospitality sector, where the number of tourists and visitors is expected to grow steadily year on year reaching an unprecedented level in five years’ time, during the World Expo 2020.”

The developer currently has 1,450 keys under management of Damac Hotels & Resorts.

The company’s main flagship projects within the sector include: DAMAC Towers by Paramount; Paramount Hotel Jumeirah Water Front; DAMAC Esclusiva, a luxury serviced apartments with interiors by FENDI; and DAMAC Tower by Paramount Hotels & Resorts.

In total, Damac currently has 10,000 hotel rooms and serviced hotel apartments under development, it said.

Dubai’s hospitality sector has been seeing strong growth as the emirate prepares to welcome 20 million visitors annually by 2020 as part of its tourism strategy. The city will also host the six-month long Expo 2020 during the same year, which alone is anticipated to draw up to 25 million visitors.

According to official estimates, the total room stock in Dubai is set to double by 2020 to around 160,000 from the 68,000 hotel rooms and 14,000 hotel apartment units available in the market at the end of 2013.
