As part of the 18 month contract AECOM will supply pre-programme management consultancy services in addition to trained staff in order to support the planning and the design work for the entire project and it phases. The metro project is set to become an integral link to residential, industrial and commercial areas in Jeddah. “We are delighted to play a key role in this important program and to support the Jeddah Metro Company,” said David Barwell, Aecom Middle East CEO. “Our global team of transportation experts is well equipped to deliver a program that will provide the residents of Jeddah with access to a safe, reliable and sustainable public transportation system,” he added. The project will include a metro, trams and consist of 293km of track, in addition to a 750km bus network and water taxis. 0 Comments
