Marriott opens Courtyard hotel in Dubai’s Al Barsha

Hotel firm Marriott International has announced the opening of its latest Dubai hotel in the Al Barsha area.

Courtyard by Marriott Al Barsha features 216 rooms, three meeting rooms, a gym and outdoor pool.

Food and beverage outlets include the Flavours all-day dining restaurant, the Star Buzz Lounge, the Upyard Rooftop Bar and the Oak Bar.

Marriott said the property would be operated as a franchise and managed by Best Facility Hotel Management, which is the owner and developer.

The hotel operator previously said it would open 11 hotels in the UAE this year, bringing its total portfolio in the country to 59 properties with 17,000 rooms.

Further additions are planned in the UAE, where Marriott will reach more than 80 hotels by 2023 mostly through additions in the upper-upscale and luxury categories.
