Home Industry Hospitality Marriott selected to manage luxury Abu Dhabi beach hotel The hotel is described as providing “some of the finest facilities offered in the hospitality industry” by Staff Writer October 19, 2016 Abu Dhabi’s National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Marriott International to manage a new Ritz-Carlton hotel on Saadiyat Island. The hotel will cover a beach area of 95,000 square metres near the upcoming Louvre Abu Dhabi, Manarat Al Saadiyat and Yas Links Golf course. It will consist of 300 rooms, plus villas and chalets, and is described as providing “some of the finest facilities offered in the hospitality industry”. Additional details on the NCTH website suggest the property will be based on a 809,000-square-metre land plot framed by natural beach dunes. The Saadiyat hotel project is one of three developments NCTH is undertaking. Others include the expansion of the Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort with 24 new beachfront chalets and an expansion of Dhafra Beach Hotel doubling its keys to 203 by 2017. Elsewhere, it is developing the InterContinental Abu Dhabi Grand Marina, a 184-key hotel due to open in 2018. (Image for illustrative purposes only) 0 Comments
