This was unveiled by him at his restaurant Kinara in Dubai. Akshaya.io will create Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) of the book which will enable those interested to own the original NFT along with physical book. This purchase will authenticate the originality of this book and ownership of the asset cannot be duplicated in any form. Though a first-ever collaboration, the celebrity chef and author intends to create more augmented reality and virtual reality assets of his works and creations. “In these fast-changing times when the world of the internet is metamorphosing into the future rapidly, it is important we take the big leap forward. ‘Sacred Foods of India’ is very dear to my heart, and I wish this will be a prized possession for those who are interested in buying or investing into works of passion,” he said. It is a non-interchangeable unit of data stored on a blockchain that can be sold or traded. NFT books are rising in popularity and authors are seeing a good potential. Recently, the inaugural Michelin Guide Dubai 2022 was revealed, regarding which Vikas said, “Michelin is the only guide which is reputed worldwide and to have that guide come to Dubai is truly deserving.
