Home Industry Technology Microsoft launches Windows tool to retrieve deleted documents The tool can recover MP3 files, MP4 videos, PDFs, JPEGs, and various other office types too by Gulf Business July 1, 2020 There are several tools that allow you to recover deleted files on Windows, and it appears that Microsoft wants to have its own official tool that can do the same. It has now announced the launch of the Windows File Recovery tool designed to retrieve files that have been accidentally deleted. The new Windows File Recovery tool will be a system command program that can recover various types of files and documents on the hard disk, USB disks, and even SD cards, but it cannot restore files stored in the cloud. As with any file recovery tool, you will need to use it as soon as possible after deleting the files so that other files are not stored in their place. You will be able to use Microsoft’s new file recovery tool to recover MP3 files, MP4 videos, PDFs, JPEGs, and various other office types too. Windows File Recovery has a default mode that mainly supports NTFS file systems, and can even be used to recover files from a damaged or formatted disk. There is a second mode that allows users to recover specific types of files via FAT, exFAT and ReFS file systems, but it may take more time to recover those deleted files.
