Home Industry Hospitality Mid-range Rove hotel planned for Dubai’s City Walk The property will be among the largest in the brand’s portfolio by Robert Anderson December 6, 2018 Mid-range hotel joint venture Rove has announced plans to open its latest property within Dubai’s City Walk. The 564-key venue will be located next to the Dubai Arena in City Walk, a lifestyle development owned by Rove joint venture partner Meraas. The opening date of the property was not disclosed. Meraas said last month that indoor event venue Dubai Arena was on schedule for a 2019 opening. It will have the capacity to accommodate 17,000 people when finished. Read: Dubai Arena facade work finished as venue prepares for 2019 opening Rove has rapidly expanded its presence in Dubai, with a growing pipeline of properties designed to cater to the midscale segment. It currently has five properties across Dubai – Rove Downtown, Rove Healthcare City, Rove City Centre, Rove Trade Centre and Rove Dubai Marina. Upcoming hotels under the brand include Rove La Mer, Rove Mina Seyahi, Rove Al Marjan Island, Rove Aljada Sharjah, one near Dubai Parks and Resorts and Rove King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia.
