Home GCC UAE Midis SI Group acquires Abu Dhabi-based IT services company MAGNOOS Founder Michael Halas to continue running MAGNOOS as managing partner by David Ndichu October 4, 2020 Midis SI Group has completed the acquisition of MAGNOOS Information Systems, a value-added reseller (VAR) and technology implementation company specialising in data management and analytics, service management and automation software. MAGNOOS is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE but operates across the Middle East and Africa, with a presence in Saudi Arabia, India, Egypt and Athens. The company was founded and headed by Michael Halas, who will be joining Midis SI as the managing partner of MAGNOOS. With the acquisition, MANGOOS can leverage MDS AP and other Midis SI affiliates to expand its offerings and strengthen its presence in the region especially in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Midis SI Group is the system integration and services arm of MIDIS Group which has more than 170 affiliates representing technology vendors in over 70 countries across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. Midis SI Group is one of the largest system integrators in the region, employing more than 2,500 employees with a presence in 13 countries across 20 major cities, and covers the following six lines of business – enterprise IT (server, storage and data management, network and security); cloud and data centre infrastructure and services; managed IT services; software and professional services; end-user computing, mobility and communications; site and power solutions.
