A missile projectile launched by Houthi militia from inside Yemen hit one of the border villages in Al-Arda Governorate in Saudi Arabia’s Jazan province, officials have confirmed.
The Deputy Spokesman for the Civil Defense Directorate in Jazan Region, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed bin Hassan Al-Samghan, has said that the fall caused injury of three civilians and damages to a civilian car due to flying shrapnel.
The procedures adopted in such cases have been immediately implemented, he said, Saudi Press Agency reported.
In November last year, a fuel tank at a petroleum products distribution station in Jeddah burst into flames, following an explosion caused by a projectile attack.

Also in November, several people were injured after an IED attack on a World War I commemoration ceremony in Jeddah.
