Multi-mode noise cancellation earbuds from Soundcore now available in UAE

Listening to music while working out has been shown to help improve the quality of the workout by increasing stamina and putting you in a better mood. But exercising outdoors with your earphones on puts you at risk due to reduced awareness.

Now technology in the latest earbuds from accessories brand Anker lets users enjoy their music without cutting them off from their surroundings.

The Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro features “Transparency Mode” with two different settings: Mode 1 is for total transparency which helps enhance all ambient sounds. This is ideal for runners and bicyclists that need to safely hear noises around them on a city street. The second transparency mode focuses on vocals to enhance voices in the immediate vicinity while simultaneously reducing background noise. This mode is applicable for users in transit for instance, who still need to hear announcements from a P.A. speaker or flight attendant.

The earbuds also offer users the ability to change between three noise cancellation modes including Transport mode, when needed to block out low-frequency noises from aeroplanes, trains or city buses; Outdoor mode, which use a less powerful ANC (active noise cancellation) setting but wider bandwidth to block out street noise, and finally, Indoor mode, which primarily reduces mid-range frequencies to help block out voices that are commonly found in an office or at a café.

To ensure great audio quality even with noise-cancelling turned on, Anker says the Liberty Air 2 Pro utilises ten hardened nanolayers to make the 11mm driver in each earbud, offering more accurate sound and clarity at all frequencies. Soundcore then worked to tune the earbuds, both with ANC turned on and off, to make sure that music always sounded like artists originally intended, it added.

Through the Soundcore app, the Liberty Air 2 Pro offers users HearID 2.0, audio frequency customisation. After performing a hearing test with the earbuds, the Liberty Air 2 Pro tunes the sound for the individual. The 2.0 version of the app lets users make changes to these individualised audio settings or they can choose from one of the preset sound profiles.

Other key features include a 7-hour battery with ANC off / 6-hour battery with ANC on; 6-mic uplink noise reduction which helps optimise voices and minimise background noise; Siri voice-assistant compatibility; and IPX4 waterproof rating.
