Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, chairman of Al Habtoor Group, will cut the ribbon at the 319-room hotel, located on Palm Jumeirah’s Eastern Crescent, accompanied by senior Hilton Worldwide executives. Rooms span 52sqm and feature wireless internet, Sony LCD TVs, oval desks and iHome docking station for iPad, iPod and iPhone, and separate tub and spacious rainshower, as well as terraces. The property is spacious with plentiful marble, and muted colour schemes. The Peacock Alley lounge, which snakes 180 degrees at the back of the lobby, is different from your standard lobby lounge design, and contains a large terrace. Other options include Social by Heinz Beck (European), Mezzerie (international), Lao (South Asian) and Serafina (Venetian-inspired bar) and Palm Avenue (poolside). Guests can also avail of 24-hour room service. Leisure facilities include a 2,000sqm spa, due to open in April, and a 200m private beach. Meeting rooms are available along with a ballroom, which can host up to 600 guests. The hotel will host the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2014 on May 4. 0 Comments
