The track comes for the hit Bollywood movie Jawan. The song is one of six featuring Indian artists in the top 20, part of a rich variety in musical style reflecting the diverse population of the UAE. Arijit Singh said: “It is so beautiful to see Chaleya become the first-ever Official UAE #1! I want to congratulate everyone who has been a part of the journey. The chart will be released every Wednesday on the Official MENA Chart website and announced on the Official MENA Chart social media channels along with chart insights for that week. The chart benefits from IFPI’s world-leading charts methodology and includes streaming consumption data from all the leading music services in that country including Anghami, Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify and YouTube. The chart is prepared by BMAT. The launch of the new Official UAE Chart comes as part of a wider expansion of the charts footprint in this region, with official charts for Egypt, Saudi Arabia and North Africa also announced today.
