Home GCC Saudi Arabia Pics: Sheikh Mohammed tours historic site in Saudi Mada’in Saleh in Saudi’s Al-Ula province is an archeological site featuring carvings by the Nabataean civilisation by Staff writer February 3, 2019 Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai visited Mada’in Saleh, a historic site in Saudi Arabia on Saturday. He was joined by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed on the tour. Located in the historic Al-Ula governorate, Mada’in Saleh features archaeological rocks carved by the Nabataean civilisation, and was named the kingdom’s first UNESCO World Heritage site in 2008. Mada’in Saleh is truly a magical place.
