Starting from 1 March 2014, the carrier will fly twice daily flights into both destinations, according to a report by Business Traveller Asia Pacific. The new 220 sq km DWC began commercial flights yesterday, with Wizz Air the first airline to touch down at the new hub. Although DWC had already been handling cargo flights, the start of passenger services projected Dubai into the realm of two-airport cities. Gulf Air previously announced it will operate one of its daily services from Bahrain into DWC from December 8. Also on Monday, Qatar Airways launched daily services to Clark International in the Philippines, becoming the second Gulf carrier on the route after Emirates started services last month. 0 Comments
