QR027 departs Doha at 0800 and arrives in Edinburgh at 1315 local time. The return service, QR028, leaves Edinburgh at 1445 and lands in Doha at 2340 local time. The carrier is deploying a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the route in a two-cabin configuration, with 22 seats in business class and 232 in economy. Flights depart Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Edinburgh becomes Qatar’s third UK destination. It currently operates six flights daily to London Heathrow and 10 weekly to Manchester. The route, the first scheduled B787 service from a Scottish airport, is particularly significant for Scottish passengers and companies as they now find themselves with improved access to Asia, Australasia and the Subcontinent, via the airline’s new hub in Doha. 0 Comments
