The country’s health ministry confirmed on April 2, that 100,080 doses of the vaccine were given in the past 24 hours. This scaled the total doses provided up to today to 8,491,382 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 85.85 doses per 100 people. Meanwhile, with the detection of 2,180 new infections on Friday, the total number of recorded cases in the UAE has risen to 465,939.
