Ras Al Khaimah provides free summer shuttle bus from Dubai

Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) has announced the beginning of a free shuttle bus service for tourists travelling from Dubai over the summer.

The bus will run from June 1 until September 30 and offer guests free wi-fi, water bottles and maps.

Visitors can book tickets online at www.rakshuttle.com and select pick-up from either Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 1 or Terminal 3.

They will then be dropped off at any of the main hotels in Ras Al Khaimah.

“To make it even easier to travel the 45 minutes from DXB Airport, we are offering a complimentary shuttle service this summer so visitors can sit back, relax and enjoy the scenic ride before embarking on our world-class adventures, poolside family fun and luxurious pampering,” said RAKTDA CEO Haitham Mattar.

RAK has recently been boosting its tourism investment in order to attract more visitors.

In February, it broke the record for the world’s longest zip line with a new attraction on top of Jebel Jais mountain.

Several other adventure tourism have attractions have also been opened over the last 18 months.

The emirate’s tourism authority is aiming to welcome one million visitors a year by the end of 2018 and 2.9 million annually by 2025.
