The restaurant was closed in cooperation with Dubai Tourism, mainly for not ensuring social distancing. Dubai Economy also confirmed that during its daily inspections, one shop was fined for not applying enough social distancing stickers, and four shops in a mall were warned since employees were not wearing face masks. Meanwhile 518 businesses were found to be compliant with the regulations. It also stressed that similar disciplinary measures will be enforced on violating outlets, with double the closure period and the value of the fine. Another restaurant was also closed on Friday for failing to adhere to the precautionary measures.
