Emaar and Almarai ranked second and third on the list. Apple witnessed the sharpest decline, moving down five slots to rank 10th in the UAE. YouGov’s annual BrandIndex screened opinions about 1,437 regional brands from current or former consumers. In Saudi Arabia, payment network Mada topped the kingdom’s rankings as the most advocated brand, followed closely by Emaar and Al Baik. Technology companies saw a decline in the kingdom with the iPhone dipping from fourth spot in 2018 to seventh in 2019. Apple also declined from sixth in 2018 to ninth in the 2019 rankings. Technology led the way in Egypt as smartphone manufacturer iPhone topped local rankings followed by Google. Majid Al Futtaim, Netflix and Cairo Festival City rounded up the top five. 0 Comments
