Rolls-Royce Launches Limited Edition Ghost V-Specification

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has unveiled the Ghost V-Specification, a limited special edition of the Ghost, available for customers in the GCC to commission through dealerships from January to June 2014.

“This limited series celebrates one of Ghost’s defining characteristics; the exquisite 6.6 litre Rolls-Royce V12 engine,” said Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

The motor is upgraded with a 30bhp / 22kw power increase on all Ghost V-Specification models. The car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds with 80 per cent of power available from idle.

The V-Specification comes in five specially selected exterior colours including graphite, black sapphire, black kirsch, arctic white and infinity black. Customers also have the option to choose from Rolls-Royce’s 44,000 hue palette.

As a design upgrade, the car has optional visible chrome exhausts and 21” part-polished wheels.

The limited edition car also comes with a special motif, both on the exterior and the interior through engraving to the treadplates, embroidery to the rear armrest and hand-applied steel inlays to the front multimedia screen lid.

The interior also includes an exclusively designed clock with a black crown surrounding the face.

The V-Specification is available on the Ghost and Ghost Extended Wheelbase models.

The Middle East is one of the strongest markets for the luxury carmaker, with 2013 sales in the region up 17 per cent on the previous year – making it the fastest growing region globally.

Bespoke work accounts for 100 per cent of the brand’s sales in the Middle East.

“I’m really optimistic about the Middle East region, the stock market looks good, oil prices are good, the Qatar market has lots of activity. We see that once the economy is good and everyone is happy, then our business does well,” Müller-Ötvös said earlier this year.
