Home Uncategorized Saudi Arabian Airlines and American Express partner on miles redemption programme All American Express Saudi Arabia card members can transfer two Membership Rewards points in exchange for one AlFursan mile by Varun Godinho May 13, 2022 Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia), the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia entered into an agreement with American Express Saudi Arabia on a new miles redemption prgramme. According to the terms of the agreement signed at the recently concluded Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, all American Express Saudi Arabia card members can transfer two Membership Rewards points in exchange for one AlFursan mile. The two entities already have an existing partnership prior to the latest announcement by way of the existing AlFursan American Express cobranded credit card that allows American Express Saudi Arabia card members to earn miles directly using the card. Saudia’s network of flights connects to over 95 destinations across four continents. The airline recently announced the addition of 10 new international routes: Bangkok, Thailand; Barcelona and Malaga, Spain; Marrakech, Morocco; Mykonos, Greece; Moscow, Russia; Beijing, China; Seoul, South Korea; Entebbe, Uganda; Amsterdam, the Netherlands; and Chicago, Illinois in the US. At the ATM, Saudia also launched an all-new rebranded business division for the airline. Saudia Business, specialising in B2B travel solutions for corporate, agency and MICE clients will have a dedicated meetings and events team that assists with specific corporate travel needs and event organisation worldwide. Catering to corporate clients with custom solutions, Saudia Business will offer new incentives exclusively for corporate clients through SAUDIA Business Loyalty. This rewards programme allows for the redemption of points with every booking and spend. Also at the ATM, Saudia revealed its brand-new in-flight entertainment (IFE) system, Beyond, which will feature onboard experience with over 5,000 hours of HD content, including films and TVshows, a library of e-books, meal ordering, flight information and agenda timelines.
