Saudi Arabia will permit inbound travellers arriving into the kingdom from 11 countries, starting 1am on Sunday, May 30, its Interior Ministry has announced.
The travel suspension for passengers coming from the UAE, US, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, the UK, Sweden, Switzerland, France and Japan, has been scrapped in light of the stability of the situations in these countries, Saudi Press Agency said.
The institutional quarantine procedures will be applicable to these arrivals.
Earlier this month, the kingdom also announced that all non-citizens who have not received the Covid-19 vaccine and arrive in Saudi Arabia starting Thursday, May 20, will be subject to seven days of mandatory paid institutional quarantine.

The Saudi health ministry confirmed that 1,106 new cases of the Covid-19 infection were announced on May 29, raising the total count to 448,284. Meanwhile, 14 deaths were also reported in the preceding 24 hours raising the fatality count to 7,334.
Meanwhile, with 1,274 recoveries, the total has soared to 430,937. Additionally, a total of 13,731, 626 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered across the kingdom.
