The event, which marks the close of the Dubai Summer Surprises promotional season, has been pushed back by a day “due to the sad demise” of the singer’s brother. Abdo will now perform on Saturday at the same time, 9:00pm, and tickets for Friday will be accepted at the door. “Mohammed Abdo remains graciously committed to his fans and hopes to see everyone on Saturday night,” a statement read. “Fans who are unable to attend the revised concert, can contact [email protected] before the start of the event, clearly mentioning their order number and registered email address and they will issue a refund.” Ticket prices for the concert started at Dhs300 (482) for silver seats, with royal tier seats selling for Dhs2,500 ($681). The concert has been organised by Dubai Tourism, in partnership with Platinum Records – MBC Group. Listings site Platinumlist said it was Abdo’s first concert in the UAE for more than a year and would feature his greatest hits. 0 Comments
