It is a blow for the airline which has been keen to develop its international network beyond the Gulf. In April, it launched three-time weekly flights to London Gatwick, its first European route. It currently operates three weekly flights on the Jeddah-Manchester route, operating Airbus A330 aircraft with 164 seats. At launch, flynas believed it was capitalising on “high demand for affordable fares to popular European destinations from the Middle East”, but the UK remains highly competitive, with both London and Manchester well served by all three leading Gulf carriers. Airline Route claims flynas will continue to serve Manchester through a codeshare with Etihad Airways via Abu Dhabi. 0 Comments
