Parking will be free from Sunday, August 11 until Tuesday, August 13, excluding “certain public parking zones that remain paid during all days of the week and in official holidays”, the Sharjah Municipality said. It also stressed that public parking will be paid on Arafat Day, which falls on Saturday, August 10. “Parking inspectors will continue their duties to detect any violations,” it said. All public paid parking zones will be free of charge from 9 to 12 of the Islamic month of Dhu Al Hijjah, (corresponding to Saturday, August 10 – Tuesday, August 13), the RTA said.
