Home GCC UAE Sharjah Museums Authority announces free entry to visitors on Dec 1-2 A number of entertaining and educational activities will be hosted by the authority for members of the public by Divsha Bhat November 30, 2022 The Sharjah Museums Authority (SMA) is offering free entry to its museums on December 1-2, to mark the UAE’s 51st National Day and Commemoration Day. A number of entertaining and educational activities will be hosted by the authority for members of the public. There will be activities marking the occasion on December 2 at Sharjah Fort (Al Hisn), Sharjah Maritime Museum and Hisn Khor Fakkan, which will be presented in Arabic and English. Activities include traditional games and competitions, a food corner, folkloric performances and a maritime parade. On December 2, the events at Sharjah Maritime Museum will begin at 2.30pm with a maritime parade, followed by workshops, Emirati traditional games and drum band performances. Visitors can experience henna designs, a photo booth and a taste of UAE heritage between 4.30pm and 9pm at Hisn Khor Fakkan and between 4.30pm and 8pm at Sharjah Fort (Al Hisn).
