Home World Europe Sony Launches Four Products At Mobile World Congress Xperia Z2 and M2 smartphones are designed to enhance connectivity and clarity by Dominic Ellis February 24, 2014 Sony Mobile has entered the halls of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona fully charged by launching two smartphones, a tablet and smartband. Sony is making a big play on the waterproof Xperia Z2’s camera and camcorder capabilities (pictured), with video capture available in 4k resolution (priced Dhs2,699 in the UAE, and SR2,699 in KSA) and alongside Info-eye, Social live and Timeshift burst, comes pre-loaded with new Xperia camera apps for photo and video. The Xperia Z2 tablet, billed as the slimmest and lightest waterproof tablet, will contain live colour LED technology and retail at Dhs2,499 in the UAE and SR2,499 in KSA. Both products are to launch globally in March and be available in the Middle East from April. The mid-range Xperia M2 smartphone, due to launch in April and be available regionally by May, will contain 4G speed and a sharp camera. It will be priced at Dhs1,299 in the UAE and SR1,299 ink KSA.
