Home GCC UAE South Korean Bespin Global to set up regional HQ, R&D centre at Abu Dhabi’s Hub71 Abu Dhabi Investment Office to offer financial and non-financial incentives to Bespin Global by David Ndichu February 10, 2021 South Korean-based cloud technology consulting and management company Bespin Global will set up its regional headquarters and two innovation centres at Abu Dhabi’s Hub71. The two innovation centres are a Cloud Operations Centre and a Technology Hub for its cloud experts The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) will facilitate Bespin Global’s expansion to the capital through financial and non-financial incentives, part of ADIO’s Dhs2bn ($545m) Innovation Programme, an initiative of the emirate’s Ghandan 21 accelerator programme. As part of the agreement with ADIO, Bespin Global will collaborate with local universities to nurture talent, with plans to hire 5-10 Emirati interns each year, in addition to hosting hackathon programmes. ADIO, along with Hub71, will also help connect Bespin Global to Abu Dhabi’s technology ecosystem. ADIO recently announced that leading music streaming platform Anghami will be establishing its headquarters in Abu Dhabi as part of the Innovation Programme.
