UAE astronaut Dr Sultan Al Neyadi is set to make a triumphant return to his home country on Monday after successfully completing a six-month mission aboard the International Space Station.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) officially announced that Dr Al Neyadi’s anticipated return is scheduled for approximately 5:30 pm local time.

Dr Al Neyadi, who concluded his mission on September 4, spent six months in space, during which he conducted a range of significant experiments. He was the Crew-6 mission specialist during his time aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
His stint at the ISS has etched his name in the history books as he is the first Arab astronaut to complete a six-month long mission in space.
Among his other notable achievements that have impacted the citizens of the UAE is his science lessons in both English and Arabic, specifically designed to inspire and educate young minds.
