Facebook hopes to increase its user-base to five billion by 2030, chief executive officer Mark Zuckerberg announced last week, celebrating the social network’s 12th anniversary.

“We want to finish connecting everyone, we’re going to do it in partnership with governments and different companies all over the world,” Zuckerberg said.
