Home UAE Abu Dhabi Etihad adds special flights in May and June to and from Abu Dhabi The airline is also facilitating transit flights from Sydney and Melbourne to and from London via Abu Dhabi by Varun Godinho May 19, 2020 UAE carrier Etihad Airways will increase the number of special flights it is operating worldwide to and from Abu Dhabi in May and June. The airline said in a statement that it will increase frequencies on previously announced special flights and will add new services to Belgrade, Dublin, Geneva, Milan, Paris (Charles de Gaulle airport) and Toronto. In addition to the recently launched transit flights via Abu Dhabi between Melbourne and London, Etihad will also add services to Sydney, facilitating a direct transit connection to and from the UK capital via Abu Dhabi. Foreign nationals who posses a valid residence visa will be allowed to return to the UAE beginning June 1, government officials confirmed on Monday. Read: Expat residents allowed to return to the UAE from June 1 Those in possession of a valid residence visa and who wish to return to the UAE must register in the service entitled “Residents’ Entry Permit” via its website: smartservices.ica.gov.ae.
