Mediterraneo, Armani Time: Sunset to 9pm (dinner buffet) Price: Dhs 260 including Ramadan beverages. Dhs125 for children aged 12 years and under With a view of The Dubai Fountain and a contemporary take on the classic cuisine of the Mediterranean, Armani Mediterraneo’s iftar buffet can be the ideal way to break your fast if you are one to keep style in mind. Situated at the ground floor of the Burj Khalifa, visitors can take advantage of Armani Fiori and Armani Dolci for gifting flowers and chocolates to loved ones. 2.The Address, Dubai Marina Time: Sunset to 9pm Price: Dhs155 per person An iftar buffet, offering all seasonal favorites, is to be hosted in the Constellation Ballroom. An extensive array of shisha flavours, an a la carte suhour menu and a traditional game of backgammon are to be held in the Terrace Tent from 8pm onwards. 3. Ewaan, the all-day dining establishment, serves a blend of Oriental cuisine at The Palace Downtown Dubai. An iftar and suhour tent, which has a poolside view, serve as the perfect stage for the look and feel of The Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa. 4. 3 in 1 at Vida Downtown Time: Sunset onwards Price: Dhs165 per person – Dhs80 per child between the ages of six and 12; Free for children below the age of 5. Enjoy a variety of saj, salads and appetisers from Arabic and Western cuisines. Start with cold vine leaves, fatoush, tuna nicoise or teriyaki beef and wakame salad, followed by mains such as fish sayadia, daud bascha or chicken moulakia. The Western selection includes juniper marinated lamb leg, parsley potato, chicken with wild mushroom sauce and more. Mark the end of the perfect meal with an Arabic dessert spread, traditional Ramadan drinks, and dry fruits. 5. Al Nafoorah restaurant at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Time: Sunset onwards Price: Dhs170 per head If you have a soft spot for Lebanese cuisine, give this iftar a try. Lebanese mezzeh, grilled fish and meats constitute the menu along with soft drinks and Arabic juices to set the feel. 6. Lalezar at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Time: Sunset onwards Price: Dhs 170 Another iftar venue at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray that offers a change from the traditional Arabic cuisine. Hearty selections of traditional Anatolian dishes are served as a set menu in this signature Turkish restaurant with a picturesque and traditional interior. The menu is inclusive of Arabic juices and soft drinks. 7. Asateer in Atlantis Time: Sunset onwards Price: Dhs185. Dhs95 for children aged between three and 12 Asateer offers a traditional iftar sunset buffet followed by an a la carte suhour menu from 9.30pm, including Ramadan juices. Children below the age of three are admitted complimentary. You also get a chance to relax with live entertainment and shisha during suhour from 9.30pm every evening (21+ only) 8. Gloria Hotel Time: Sunset onwards Price: Dhs130. Children between six and 12 years will be eligible for a 50 per cent discount. An iftar buffet at La Terrasse restaurant that feature hot and cold mezze, followed by a wide choice of main courses including the popular ouzi and various hot dishes as well as assorted mixed fatayer along with traditional Ramadan drinks. Arabic and continental desserts like um ali, osmaliya, baklawa, chocolate mousse, assorted traditional cakes and fresh fruits will also be served. After iftar guests have the luxury of enjoying the Ramadan tent, which will feature a sumptuous à la carte sohour with live barbeque station and a lot of famous Arabic delicacies. They can unwind with a variety of shisha flavours while listening to the oud player’s soothing tunes. 9. Flow Kitchen at The Fairmont The Palm Time: Sunset until 8.30pm Price: Dhs175. Dhs10 from every iftar purchased will go towards a choice of three local charities. Specialised cuisines from around the Gulf will be highlighted, including hot and cold mezze from Lebanon and Syria, Emirati-style ouzi, as well as live shawarma and mannakesh stations, where guests can select their choice of toppings from cheese, turkey ham, and zaatar. A variety of traditional juices will also be provided, including Karkade, Qamar Al Deen, rose water, and fresh orange juice. Additionally, a wide selection of shisha flavours will also be available to be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace with views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai Marina skyline. 10. Ritz Carlton Hotel, Dubai International Financial Centre Time: Sunset to 9pm Price: Dhs225 for adults. Dhs110 for children, including soft beverages A buffet, containing traditional Arabic cuisine as well as a range of dishes with a Mediterranean influence, will be offered at the Ramadan tent. A key attraction is the live fatteh station, where Arabic chefs will demonstrate how to make the popular Levantine dish of toasted pita, chickpeas and tahini-yogurt sauce, with a variety of fillings to suit guests’ tastes. An à la carte sohour will be served daily from 9pm, with Arabic cuisine and a dessert buffet including a vast selection of dates and Arabic sweets. Traditional Arabic drinks such as jallab (pine nuts on crushed ice) and sahlab (hot beverage with labneh, nuts and raisins), will be available alongside a selection of Arabic coffee, Turkish coffee and Moroccan tea.
