Tremors felt in parts of the UAE following quake in Iran
Many buildings in Dubai were evacuated
Several people in part of the UAE including Dubai and Sharjah felt tremors on Sunday evening following an earthquake in Iran.
A 6.2 magnitude earthquake on Richter scale was recorded in the South of Iran at 4.07pm, and another 6.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 4.08pm, the National Seismic Network confirmed.

According to the official US Geological Survey, the quake was recorded 62km NNW of Bandar Abbas in Iran at a depth of 8.7km.
Many buildings in Dubai were evacuated.
