Home Covid-19 UAE announces 319 new Covid-19 cases, 344 recoveries No Covid19-related deaths were recorded over the previous 24 hours by Gulf Business May 16, 2022 The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said on Monday that 319 new Covid-19 cases were detected over the previous 24 hours. It takes the total number of recorded cases in the country up to 902,803. The new cases were found following 124,534 Covid19 tests conducted to screen for the virus. The Ministry said that the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are are reported to be in a stable condition, according to news agency WAM. The Ministry added that no Covid19-related deaths were recorded over the previous 24 hours. The total death toll as a result of the virus remains unchanged at 2,302. MoHAP also noted that an additional 344 individuals had fully recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries up to 886,472. As of Sunday, May 15, 9,482doses of the Covid-19 vaccines were administered over the previous 24 hours, taking the total number of administered jabs up to 24,811,570 with a distribution rate of 250.87 doses per 100 people.
