Home GCC UAE UAE announces list of public holidays for 2021 and 2022 Public and private sector workers in the country will have the same number of national holidays by Aarti Nagraj December 20, 2020 The UAE cabinet has announced the list of public holidays for both the public and private sector for the years 2021 and 2022. The official holiday calendar was approved by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai on Saturday. The decision falls within the framework of organising the workflow in the two sectors and ensuring the continuity of various sectors, a statement said. According to a decree issued by the UAE cabinet last year, all public and private sector employees will have the same number of public holidays.
