UAE announces private sector holiday for Prophet’s birthday
Employees will be entitled to a day’s paid leave on Saturday, October 8
Private sector employees across the UAE will have a holiday on Saturday, October 8, the country’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced on Tuesday.
The holiday has been declared to mark the birthday of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) announced that Saturday, October 8, 2022, Rabi Al-Awwal 12, 1444 will be a paid leave for the private sector on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday.#MoHRE pic.twitter.com/ho6FfiGOgj
