Home Covid-19 UAE, Bahrain added to UK travel corridor removing 14-day quarantine for travellers The move is hoped to boost tourism from the UK to the Emirates by Aarti Nagraj November 12, 2020 The UAE and Bahrain are among countries that have been added to the UK’s travel corridor, officials announced on Thursday. Travellers arriving from nine additional countries to the UK will no longer have to quarantine for two weeks. Taking to Twitter, UK Transport secretary Grant Shapps said: “Bahrain, Chile, Iceland, Cambodia, Laos, UAE, Qatar and Turks and Caicos islands have been added to the Travel Corridor list. This lays a promising foundation for when normal international travel resumes,” he said on Twitter. “The UAE remains one of the safest places in the world against Covid-19 and continues to have one of the highest testing rates globally.
