UAE confirms national day holiday for government workers

UAE government employees will receive November 30 to December 3 off, according to state news agency WAM.

The holiday is to mark Commemoration Day on November 30 and National Day on December 2.

Holiday dates for private sector employees have yet to be announced.

Last year, private sector workers got two days off on December 1 and 2, meaning just one day off for those with a Friday/Saturday weekend.
