The flags across public and private sectors in the UAE and at embassies abroad will lower to half-mast, starting Friday, September 9, for a period of three days, official news agency WAM reported. The mourning period will end on Monday, September 12. Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, at the Balmoral Castle in Scotland at the age of 96.
