The four people on the boat were first lieutenant Mohammed Hassem Al Heil and lance corporal Saeed Nasser Al Marri, both Qatari nationals, lance corporal Mohammed Riyad Al Beltaji, a Palestinian national, and private Fayez Talkoum, an Indian national, a statement said. The Qatari military boat – which bore the country’s flag – entered the territorial waters of the UAE on April 30, with the four people aboard, all of them military personnel, the UAE ministry said. No further details were revealed. The UAE, along with Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt cut all diplomatic, trade and transport ties with Qatar in June 2017 over allegations that it supports terrorism.
