New prices published by the company on Twitter showed Super 98 rising from Dhs2.49 to Dhs2.63, Special 95 from Dhs2.37 to Dhs2.51 and diesel from Dhs 2.56 to Dhs2.71. The country’s fuel prices have been based on international oil rates since August 2015. Earlier in May, global crude benchmark Brent topped $80 for the first time since November 2014. It is now hovering around $75, having increased more than 44 per cent over the last year.
