Home GCC UAE UAE fuel prices to increase again in September Minor price increases to come following the recent surge in the oil market by Robert Anderson August 28, 2016 UAE fuel prices are to increase again in September after dipping this month, the country’s Ministry of Energy has announced. Under the new prices, Special 95 will increase from Dhs1.62 to Dhs1.64, Super 98 from Dhs1.73 to Dhs1.75 and EPlus 91 from Dhs1.55 to Dhs1.57 However, diesel will decrease from Dhs1.76 to Dhs1.72. The UAE reduced fuel subsidies last year, instead introducing a system that calculates prices based on global oil benchmarks. This followed a dip in Brent crude prices from $50 to around $43 in July.
