According to a statement published by the Abu Dhabi Media Office, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, issued an Emiri decree appointing Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the Crown Prince of the emirate.
Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed has served as a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Office.
In other major appointments, the UAE President also issued two Emiri decrees appointing Hazza bin Zayed and Tahnoun bin Zayed as Deputy Rulers of Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mohamed also issued resolutions, with the approval of the UAE Federal Supreme Council, to appoint Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Minister of Presidential Court, as UAE Vice President, alongside Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
