UAE: Prices of Covid-19 PCR tests reduced to Dhs50 across country

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has reduced the price of Covid-19 PCR tests at all national testing facilities to Dhs50.
Also, results of the test must be returned within a maximum of 24 hours of the sample being taken, noted the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) on Twitter.

On Monday, MoHAP said that it had conducted 321,470 additional Covid-19 tests over the preceding 24 hours.
It led to the detection of 993 infections, raising the total number of recorded cases to 717,374.
The health ministry also announced 1,501 recoveries in the past 24 hours, increasing the total recoveries to 703,603.
With one additional death due to Covid-19-related complications, the death toll has scaled to 2,039.
