It led to the detection of 993 infections, raising the total number of recorded cases to 717,374. The health ministry also announced 1,501 recoveries in the past 24 hours, increasing the total recoveries to 703,603. With one additional death due to Covid-19-related complications, the death toll has scaled to 2,039.
