The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that in light of what had been discussed between Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, it has been decided to restore the level of diplomatic relations with Canada to its previous state. This development follows discussions held between the two leaders on the sidelines of the summit of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum held in Bangkok on November 18 last year.
