The new cases were detected after 198,379 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus. The health ministry also announced 1,057 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 964,828. Zero deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, keeping the death toll to 2,332.
