Home Covid-19 UAE reports 1,289 new Covid-19 cases, four deaths Authorities have urged the public to be cautious during the National Day holidays by Aarti Nagraj December 1, 2020 The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 1,289 Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the total number of infections announced in the country to 170,149. The cases were found after 129,900 new Covid-19 tests were carried out in the country. According to the ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and are receiving the necessary care. The UAE also announced four deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 576. It also said that an additional 768 individuals had fully recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 155,667. It also urged the public to co-operate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distancing measures to ensure the health and safety of all. Authorities in the UAE have already warned citizens and residents to avoid large gatherings and stay away from crowded places during the National Day holidays to curb the spread of the virus.
