The new cases were detected after 318,906 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus. The health ministry also announced 1,361 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 912,587. No deaths were reported in the previous 24 hours, keeping the death toll unchanged at 2,309.
